I am an enthusiastic and self-motivated teacher, who has achieved defined goals. I am diplomatic and sensitive to other people’s needs, and able to build a co-operative team spirit, through the use of my excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills. I have 6 years of experience working as a teacher, (Nursery-Year 6) and over 10 years’ experience working with children. This also included supporting children for 7+ and 11+ exams. I have a wide range of experience in schools in both mainstream, private and specialist schools, in deprived and very affluent areas of London. 

I am able to adapt my teaching style to suit the needs of diverse groups of children as I have taken up opportunities within university to develop my teaching practice and professional development, particularly in the area of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities and have acquired enhanced and specialist skills within this area. 

My overarching aim is to continually improve the standard of a curriculum that is full of both different races, cultures and needs to give children an enriching and inspiring educational experience.  

I also have first-rate computer, literacy and numeracy skills. I am also fluent in Spanish as I was raised in a Colombian household, and lived in Colombia for 2 years.
