I am an experienced, fully qualified teacher of both English and French. I have joint BA honours in English Literature and French (2:1, University of Westminster), and a Masters degree in English Literature (Merit, University of Westminster). I also have a Postgraduate teaching degree (PGCE French Secondary, University of Greenwich - grade: Outstanding). 

I have more than10 years of teaching experience ranging from KS1 to adult learners. In recent years, I have specialised in: Transition from year 6 to secondary, secondary education as well as further and higher education. 

My main aim as a teacher is to improve the confidence of my students, I believe this improves not only the academic performance of students but also equips them with skills for good personal development and self belief. I feel strongly that the individual needs of a student should be prioritised in lessons and disagree with the ‘one size fits all’ notion that can be evident in education. 

I am friendly, kind and patient and have an inherent passion for both English and French; a passion that I strive to inspire in my students through praise, encouragement and support.
