Sophia's academic background includes a degree in Hispanic Studies and Business, highlighting her interdisciplinary approach to education.

Specialising in supporting students at various academic levels, encompassing Key Stages 2 and 3, as well as GCSE/A-level, Sophia excels in teaching a diverse range of subjects, including English, Maths, Modern Foreign Languages (specifically Spanish at GCSE/A-level), and English as a Foreign Language (EFL). Her CELTA qualification from the British Council underscores her proficiency in EFL instruction, and she has successfully taught Young Learners for several years.

Sophia's success extends to guiding students through exam preparation, where she has demonstrated her effectiveness in helping them navigate and excel in exams such as 7+, 10+, 11+, GCSE, A-level, IELTS, and Cambridge exams. Sophia taught English at university level for students studying to become English language teachers , she then Worked at the British Council where she trained to obtain a CELTA and taught young learners (ages 5-17 years) in classes of groups of max 18 students over 7 years, working on both English language , grammar , literature and preparation for international exams such as GCSE, A-level , IELTS and UK university submission. 

Sophia also worked coordinating Education projects and programmes and was the Equality diversity and inclusion lead. When Sophia moved back to the Uk in 2019 she worked as a teacher in a schools here in London mainly in her capacity as a qualified English and Foreign language teacher but also covered MFL classes (this purpose was to decide whether she wanted to work in schools full time in the Uk).

Her other students have successfully passed 11+ ,10+ and 7+ to enter Aldenham school, Belmont, UCS and South Hampstead .
